This all-new model replaces the xA. Though it shares its platform with the subcompact Toyota Yaris, the xD gets a larger engine (1.8 liters versus the xA and Yaris' 1.5). Gone are the center-mounted gauges; the xD's instuments are mounted in front of the driver.
